EVELYN MONTALVO
Speaker Bio

Evelyn Montalvo is a well-respected Executive Coach and the President of Montalvo Associates, a minority and woman-owned business based in Philadelphia, USA. For over 10 years her firm has provided consulting, teaching and coaching services to Fortune 500 corporations to accelerate the development, performance and contributions of their high potential women and multicultural professionals.  In addition to her consulting work, Evelyn is an Adjunct Instructor on the faculty of Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, teaching leadership development and organizational effectiveness.

To her consulting and coaching, Evelyn brings her extensive “front-line” experience.  As an executive in corporate America, she gained her expertise and earned her stripes at major companies such as American Express, Cigna International, Fidelity Investments, and Prudential Companies.  Evelyn comes with first-hand experience in international markets and has worked in Latin America, Europe, and India/Asia.  She led an overseas operation in the Republic of Panama as an expatriate. 

Ms. Montalvo has worked with Fortune 500 corporations, universities, healthcare institutions, non-profit organizations and government agencies.  She has experience working in such client systems as Merck & Co, Wachovia Corp. (now Wells Fargo), Verizon, Microsoft, Unilever US, Sony Pictures, Pfizer, Sykes Enterprises, and JPMorgan Chase.

Recently, Ms. Montalvo received the 2007 Professional Services Award from the City of Philadelphia for her contributions to the economic empowerment of the region.  She also was awarded the prestigious 2004 National Hispana Leadership Institute Fellow for her leadership in the community.  She has been named one of the 100 most influential Latinas in Philadelphia.
